About Contact Rosie's Music Room

Rosie lives and works in San Antonio, Texas.  She has been making dolls for over 20 years and works with polymer clays, stone clay, fabric and mixed media. Through her blend of computerized images, free-form embellishing and her use of color and texture Rosie turns her dolls into canvasses of creativity and self expression. Rosie also teaches dollmaking in workshops and on the internet. Her teaching style reflects her belief that doll making can be a transforming and healing endeavor. (Rosie once suffered from deep clinical depression and she started making dolls as a form of therapy.) But most of all her dolls and her workshops are about having fun. Rosie's dolls have been featured in several publications, exhibits and local and international shows. Her work can be found for sale in several local galleries and on the internet and she teaches several workshops around the the country each year.
