Nkondi
This is a doll I did for Li Hertzi's Book "Art Doll Adventures" in which she had different doll makers do their version of her patterns. The Nkondi is based on figures made in the Congo and Zaire.
Their purpose is to hold people responsible to each other and to their world.

I was fortunate to take a class with Russian Doll Maker Natasha Lopusova-tomskaya. The doll is made from paper mache. She is an amazing artist and a great teacher.

Round Robin Doll
This was a fun doll in which several doll makers collaborated.
We each made a doll and sent it to each other and each artist would add a part on the doll.
Artist's included, Sherry, Camile, Annie, Gale and Myself.
